Wedding Activities
Vintage Themed Grand Entrance and Exits
How you and your hubby will do your entrance or exit on your wedding can do a lot to stress your chosen theme.
Arriving via a vintage car is of course the default choice. You can choose to borrow from a friend who has bunch of old cars, or you can just hire one. We think that a 1930 Cadillac, a 1933 Ford Convertible and a 1937 Chevy are worthy choices, especially if they come in white or cream color, so be sure to check them out.
Another option is to enter your reception while doing the TWIST with your groom (it will be more amazing if the music is playing from a jukebox!), especially if you prefer the 1950s over the other era. So if you’re going for a fun rather than an elegant and formal wedding, then be sure to consider this one.

Vintage Wedding Ideas & Games
We think that games which can bring other couples together, one that can help your guests meet new friends, or any activities that has something to do with you and your groom, are perfect candidates for your wedding games. Here are some of our game ideas for this theme:
1950s Stop Dance
We will leave it to you on which particular 1950s dance to single out – Twist, Jitterbug, Cha-cha and so on, but whether you choose one or the other, this game should give your single guests great fun in reminiscing the 50s.
This game is all about dancing to your chosen 1950s music while the music is playing, stopping any movement while the music is out and dancing again once the music resumes.
The game will play out until you have your best couple in stopping and dancing.
If prefer another decade altogether, you can customize this game to make it the perfect game of that time by choosing a fun dance music from said era.
Charades
This is a popular game during and even way before the vintage era so it’s definitely worth considering on any vintage party. To make this a fitting game for a wedding, the words to be guessed at must be about you and your groom or getting married in general. In short, this is the elaborate version of the typical straightforward trivia game.
Not familiar with this game? You can find the game details here.
Photo Race
You will need dozens of black and white photos of the bride and groom for this activity.
The goal of each table is to organize the photos in chronological order. A combination of easy-to-arrange photos and of more challenging ones will make this game fun to play and at the same time, not boring.
The group of guests who was able to set the order of these photos with the least mistakes definitely deserves a cool prize!
